Q: How long will my listing in @Rochester last?
A: All listings will remain on the website forever. We always recommend that you register before adding a listing as this will allow you to update it in the future should you need to.

Q: Are listings really free?
A: Basic listings are currently free. This is to make sure that our listings as complete and useful as possible. We also offer sponsorship and premium listings with video.

Q: What are the differences between Basic, Premium and Sponsored listings?
A: A Basic listing is just that, a searchable listing added to the general @Rochester Directory. A Premium listing will appear above all basic listings in the Search results. The Sponsored listing always appears at the top of the category, in its own highlighted box, Much as Google AdWords listings appear above its organic search listings in its search results, You can upgrade a Basic listing at any time, here.

Q: What is the main benefit of listing in the @Rochester Web Directory?
A: Basically exposure - the more paths leading to your website, the better. @Rochester is a major portal to sites based in Rochester, NY and a listing in our directory will increase traffic to your site.

Q. I need to edit my listing?
A: If you registered with @Rochester prior to listing your website then simply click on the Update a listing button, log in and amend your listing. If you need to alter your listing in the @Rochester Web Directory listings and did not Register before adding your listing, it will be necessary for you to request deletion of the current entry and then add a new listing.

1. Do a search of the site to find your listing.
2. Click on "Details".
3. Click on "Report Broken Link".
4. Select Other under Error Type.
5. Press "Send Report".

Now add a new entry:
1. Click on "Add A Listing".
2. Complete the form then press "Submit your website".

We will send you an email message when your submission is approved. The message will include a password so you can request modification of your listing in the future. You will also need the password to upgrade your listing.

Q. Can someone other than me edit, maintain, or update my directory listing?
A. Yes. @Rochester Staff may edit or remove your listing from the database if it displays incorrect information, broken links or appears to not represent the business it advertises.

We do reserve the right to reject and remove any listings that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be inappropriate.
